About PixelXTrim
PixelXTrim is a free collection of browser-based image tools built and maintained by Noah Atlim in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. It was made for simple image jobs that should not require a full design app: compress a photo, resize it for a form, convert it to another format, or crop it for a post.
Why this site exists
PixelXTrim started after seeing the same practical image problems appear again and again: client websites slowed down by huge photos, emails rejected because attachments were too large, upload forms with strict size limits, and social posts cropped in the wrong place. Many free image tools add signup walls, watermarks, confusing screens, or server uploads before you can download a result.
The site keeps common tasks separate so you can do one thing, check the result, and download the file. The goal is simple: fast, free, secure image tools with no account requirement.
What makes PixelXTrim different
PixelXTrim is privacy-first by design. For the free tools, images are processed in your browser whenever possible, so your photos, ID scans, client work, product images, and personal files stay on your device. We do not want to see or store those images.
Each tool focuses on a real publishing problem: make a file smaller for WordPress, convert a PNG to WEBP for a faster site, resize a photo under a form limit, or crop a graphic for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, or X.
Who uses PixelXTrim
PixelXTrim is built for website owners, students, teachers, small businesses, social media managers, and anyone who has seen a "file too large" message and just wants a clean fix. The interface is meant to stay understandable for non-technical users while still giving useful control over image quality, dimensions, and format.
How we write guides
The guides are based on everyday web publishing needs: smaller page images, sensible dimensions, format choices, transparency, alt text, and quality checks before upload. They are meant to be practical, not overly technical, and each article is reviewed for clarity before publishing.
Privacy approach
The free tools are designed to process images in your browser whenever possible. PixelXTrim does not require an account for basic use. You should always keep your original file before replacing it with an edited copy, especially for business, school, legal, or client work.
